SANY, Zoomlion or XCMG: choosing a used pump

Parts availability, chassis and boom length matter more than the badge.

All three brands are built in Changsha and use pumping units and wear parts that are easy to source here. The bigger differences are the chassis and the boom length you need for your work.

Chassis: imported chassis (Mercedes-Benz, Scania, MAN, Volvo) are common on 49 m and longer booms and are easier to service outside China; Chinese chassis (SANY, SITRAK, FAW) cost less and are fine where you can get parts.

Boom length: 37 to 43 m covers most housing and commercial work; 49 to 56 m suits high-rise and large slabs; 59 m and longer needs a stable site and skilled operators. Longer booms cost more to move and to maintain.

Emission standard matters for import rules in some countries. We list the standard on each unit; check yours before you choose.
